I've been reading. I just want to see results on same car. My car made 29rwhp difference on two different local dynos with no changes. If it's shown to be as good as people are saying ill have my cash ready to buy

Question Mic drop

No doubt! It would be like dropping that 80mm tb that EVERYBODIES stressin' over. Just a thought, there's no doubt that an 80mm tb will allow more airflow than a stock or ported 72mm tb.thats just pure physics. The question is can or does the lfx need or can use more available air in its combustion process?

I'm kinda questioning the same thing. With VVT tuning and drive by wire throttle opening rates I suppose anything is possible these days though.

I'm wondering if someone like Sanjay would see a air speed velocity drop without the manifold spacer... Which could make it real peaky.

Air flow

I would think the 80 would be highly beneficial in a forced induction set up.i would like to see some more hard info like the dyno comparison between the vmax ported compared to the 80. Two hps probably falls within the margin of error on a pull to pull comparison. If that holds up its like $150 per hp. And it looks like it's right at the very top of the rpm band and the vmax was close to even or ahead for most of the sweep. That kinda looks like for that car with that setup on that day the 80 underperformed the vmax except for the last 300 or so rpms. Kinda looks like the 80's extra capacity might be redundant in a n/a LFXapplication. But it's only the first one we've seen. I'll be holding off on the 80 as the vmax is half the price and I am running a stock tb currently. You think Will would have more hard info for his product.:

Kenny, here's an Impala owner that did his own independent dyno testing of his VMAX versus my 80mm http://www.impalaforums.com/8th-gen-...d-vs-vmax.html

Will, very informative. As you know I haven't upgraded my tb, yet.i really appreciate the info. The page I was referencing didn't show that much of a difference as those Impala charts. Like I said ,that day, that car, that setup, didn't blow me away.i want to see some more Camaro comparisons, if I had an impala , you'd probably get my money. I hope it shows up like that for our lfx's also. I'm sure more info will be coming in. Didn't mean to say you weren't backing up your 80, as I've seen the other Impala test you've shown, just wanting more Camaro testing results,as we've only seen the one.keep us informed.

From initial layover, i see absolutely no reason why this shouldnt work. I am just getting back to work now, but will be putting the 80mm on this afternoon and cutting the coupler to fit. It will take some.....creativity....but its going to work!
