You should seriously consider running water cooling to the turbo center sections. You will SIGNIFICANTLY increase turbo life! Every build I have done since the 90's have had water cooled turbos and it increases life and also keeps temperatures well, under control. I highly recommend it. I realized it's a bit of extra plumbing but well worth it in the long run.

You should ask Monty to discuss it on one of his threads. He seems very knowledgeable on these things. I would be interested as well.

Yeah I never even thought about adding coolant to them since it wasn't in the kit. I'll have to look into it.
I drilled and tapped my turbos tonight and added some 3/8 barb fittings. I will tee these two together and run to one of the suction sides of my catch can. This SHOULD pull vacuum on the crankcase while I'm WOT (when there is no vacuum in the intake manifold) at least a few inches of vacuum. This should be better than just letting crankcase pressure build until it has to escape through a vent or worse yet pressurize the crankcase.

Had to push the car out Saturday to use the bay. It was nice to see it sitting low again with the engine and trans back in.

Hey Jantzen, how did you go about cutting the hood and mounting the vent? I'm wanting to add that same vent to my hood. Also, where does the rain gaurd drain to?

This is the thread I used as a guide. And it looks to drain on the radiator. I'm not too worried about it since my won't see a lot of rain anymore.

My rods were very generously donated by Jason(Jacfab). The compression is supposed to be 10.5:1 now.
