Need Help Clicking Above Pedals!!??!?!?

Hey guys I have been hearing a few clicks right above the gas pedal whenever I first start up and go from reverse into drive. Its usually only when the car first starts going, was wondering if anyone had any idea of what it was and if its normal or not, something tells me its not and that Im going to have to take ole Maximus Jr. into the shop :(

Mine makes a noise like that when I hit the brakes. I just turned up the stereo!

More than likely what you're hearing is the anti lock brakes indexing. I hear it also but not always. Usually first start in the morning. Strange though because the ABS is on the passenger side.

Clicking in the brakes or a clicking from the dash when you depress the button on the shifter to shift out of park? If its the latter its normal operation.

Mine's a stick, when I stick it in reverse and start to back up after letting off the brake, you get clicks. I heard this in my Corvette also and it was deemed normal. Most people don't even notice it until pointed out.

As the OP said and I don't know why, it's only when first driven for the day. I'm not sure but I wonder if there's a time interval where it sits then needs to reset the servos.

I also get a snapping noise from the clutch that sounds like the return spring moving. It's brand new so I'll drive it for a bit to see if things settle down.

I get the same noice only when I first start the car after it has been resting for quite some time, i.e. over night. When I let off the clutch in reverse and it's just starting to grab, one fairly loud click, and that's it, don't hear it anymore until the next day usually. Doesn't sound like anything is wrong, just makes a noise.

My auto makes noise when going from reverse to drive. I think it has something to do with the brake pedal lock-out. You know when the cars in park, you can't shift without appling the brakes first. 02

I kind of agree with a previous poster; make sure the music is up loud and I'm not going to sweat anything until something is REALLY broken.

I feel a clicking in the gas pedal when i accelerate after the car has been sitting over night or after I get out of work. This can be if I put the car directly into drive or reverse then go into drive? Has anyone else felt this clicking in the gas pedal?
