I should have the car in about 4 weeks.
The 1st thing I am going to do ....is put a custom cam shaft from Comp Cams
Performance valve springs
New pushrods
Hennessey perfomance air induction kit
160 Theronaste
Kooks 1 7/8 long headers full exhaust, had headers and full exhaust jet hot coated, nickle plated. I had jet hotter headers done to my Z28 years ago and they still look like brand new chrome. ( all parts sitting in garage )
Windows tinted
Custom paint job on the top of the car- Top Hood Trunk

If any of you guys are driving around 465 in the Indy area....look for me I will be the one holding a sign that says "Need Money for Car Parts" with a really big cup!!!!!!!!!!

I race alot as well, but have to disagree on the stock shifter. I have had plenty of aftermarket shifters and stock shifters and by far, this shifter is the worst I have felt. My 2003 Cavalier has a better and more positive gate than the Camaro.

You believe the Camaro shifter has a short throw? Maybe to you, but the slop in the shifter (at least mine) has ALOT to be desired. The Hurst and B&M shifters I have installed are significantly better than stock. Hell, even the stock shifter I have in my 02 WS6 is better than the Camaro.

Just saying...

For performance, this is your best route. I'd do this before cosmetics. If wife likes car without stripes, then no stripes. You can always paint them on later, which is probably the better option then dealer/factory installed stripes.

For CAI- I've read alot of good stuff on Roto-Fab's unit. I will be getting this soon. I think it's around $350. A knucklehead could install it in 1 1/2 hours. See engine mod section for tips as well.

I put on a Borla Catback S-Type exhaust. Excellent sound and performance upgrade. $1600 installed.

The tune should be done ideally after your done mods like this-unless you have cash to burn. There are many options to go. Little more costly, but one of the more impactful upgrades. Spend most of your time reading the forums on this and fully check out what others have done and how they like it. You can do it yourself if computer literate (Which I'll probably do), or pay someone to do it evrytime you need/want to re-tune is not comfortable doing it yourself.

1) I first saw these on the Foose site and decided that I need them.

2) Magnaflow Exhaust

3) HPE CAI

That should satisfy my severe craving for more sound and a little more umph.

Yea I agree on the stripes, would rather have them painted if I choose to go with them. I may also include shorty headers and will pay to have a professional tune.......most likely.......

Cosmetics / other

1. Replace cloth with leather seats.
2. Tint
3. Exterior badges
4. 4 guage pack? not sure yet

First thing for me is going to be a muffler delete, after that... I'll break out the list .

Hood replacement, most likely Revolutions.
Spoiler replacement, most likely NLP's
Striping
Window tint - 35% sides, 40% rear.
(The following are in no specific order)
Floor mats from RPI
Red/White Halos from AAC
LED fog's from AAC tapped into Halo power
Gill inserts from DefenderWorx
Mirrored turn signal bulbs from Stealth Auto
Red SS emblems or Chevy V-flags for cars body, haven't decided on this one yet.
Custom Dash Plaque

That's about all that I can think of right this minute .

Wow some of you guys are way out of my league! I'm shocked how much customizing, and how much money you guys are putting into your Camaro's. My upgrades are practically nothing compared to what some of you are doing.

I'm glad I put this post up, it's really interesting hearing the upgrades you all are doing. How about posting some cost's for your upgrades so everyone can get an idea of what this stuff cost.
