Need opinions - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My car was built on 9/12 and showed available to ship. Then after about a week it went to on hold status. Now, this past Thursday it went back to available to ship.:upset: It has the transformers package so could this have been where they shipped it to get stripes and now it is back waiting for a ride to Tennessee? I am so glad for the people with same tpw getting their cars as well as later tpw's, but I am starting to get concerned and don't want to aggravate dealer to death with questions.

Any help appreciated.

don't really know, but from ready other's questions similar to yours, i would assume the hold was for striping.

where did you order/buy? i ordered from walker in franklin, tn. would love to know the ship time from canada to tn as i am a week behind you.

the most likely reason your car want on hold, was for some small thing that was cought in the quility control check, it was only there for a week, so it was a minor fix, then went baak to "availible to ship" IF it go to "turck" in the shipping, its because it went to get the stripes on, about a week, then it will go back to RAIL, at which time, once your car is actually loaded on a railcar and shipped, you will see the railcar number, and you can track it all the way to Tenn. at every place it goes through along the way.

Man I feel your pain, My TPW was 8/31, was built 9/2, and I still haven't recieved my car...

your not that far away from me, typically, from built to delivery is about 3 to 4 weeks, have you been tracking it yet? has it actually left on a train? it should be very close to you now.
