Haven't given it a lot of thought, but I would replace it with a built engine that could take the boost/HP. I think a 1200 HP street car would be what I would shoot for.

Khedge I know you asked the Bam Bam'er about what clutch he recommends, and I am sure he will chime in soon as he sees your question.
Here is my input for what it is worth. About 4 years ago my speed shop (G-Force Motorsports) recommended Centerforce and I currently have the Centerforce Dyad dual disc clutch. My only complaint is the clutch is noisy (chatters) when you push in the clutch at a light. I put the car in manual so I don't have to hear it, or I open the cut outs which also does a decent job of drowning the noise. I will probably replace the clutch sometime in the near future, and my shop now says that the McCloud RXT is the go to clutch and has been for the past couple of years. It's going to be pretty much like anything else. You ask 10 folks about which clutch is the best and you will get varied answers based upon their experience. Diversity is the spice of life

At least now I have the air part of the build figured out, hopefully. The F-1X is a beast and will support way more HP than I will probably ever want to go. From where I sit, getting the air supply right is one of the critical components. Get more than you really need or think you will ever want, then just change a pulley and slowly build up the car around it.

depends on the power level, under 1100 i'd do a mcleod, had a great experience it with. Beyond that can't really successfully recommend anything, i had bad experience with monster triple street disk but hey maybe that was just had bad luck with it.

Thanks for the recommendation. My end goal is 1000rwhp. Was your monster clutch the one with the organic compound? Anyway I’ll give this monster clutch a go. I believe I’ll enjoy it.

Getting the motor built is definitely a core component so you make an extremely good point. Just so happens my build didn't start that way. I added all of the supporting mods around a stock bottom end motor. So at this point I intend to keep mine until something gives. Guess we will see just how tough these LS3's are my friend.
