Take 525rwhp for example.

525 x .15 + 525= 603.75
525 / .85= 617.65

The easier way for the first equation is.

Rwhp x 1.15 = hp @ crank.

525 x 1.15 = 603.75

Not trying to ruffle and feathers or step on any toes. Just clarifying.
Actually, if X * 0.85 = Y, then X = Y/0.85

That is correct but still does not equal X * .15 + X= y or X * 1.15= y

Two different equations being used to try to get same result.

Agreed, but the other one is wrong. You multiply BHP by 1-Drivetrain Loss.

Sorry, I need to put this out here, don't flame me for this, as it is only the way I'm seeing it:

Imagine yourself sitting in front of the flywheel on a stock LS3...
Turn the flywheel with your hands so the tires start spinning.... must be quite a effort to do this.... lets say (376 * 1,15) - 376 = 56 units of "effort"

Now, put a blower on your engine, pulley, heads&cam, meth, and all the other good stuff that takes you to 650rwhp or beyond...

Again: imagine yourself sitting in front of the flywheel trying to spin the tires with the very same hands as above... not possible? because you have heavily modded the engine (which in this situation actually sits "behind" you)? let's say (650 * 1,15) - 650 = 98 units of "effort"???

In other terms: why do I need another set of hands on the flywheel to turn the wheels on a heavily blown engine??

Nevermind, let's get on with some more dyno sheets and vids
