Just curious when they did this dyno? They just did a dyno on a Ford 460 as in 460 cubic inches but I don't see any episode for the Coyote. FYI it was on HorsepowerTV (thanks again Mr. Galley and Mr. Elmore).

From real world, the average 5.0 has been dynoing between 360 to 375rwhp stock when again done in the correct gear. Early, the shops dynoed in 4th gear which messed the numbers up until they realized the 1 to 1 ratio for that car is 5th. Some google searching will show this and of course people calling them out on it.

Also, I could be wrong about the 4.10s, I will check.

So Ford sandbagged 42hp? LMAO If they got 460 flywheel hp it was probably with no accessories. Engine only. Also, a dyno operator can pretty much get any desired result he wants within reason. Anyways, et's I have seen do not back up 460 crank hp.

Yes sorry it was on Horsepower...they got a crate coyote motor for a build and did some stock pulls at the flywheel at 460+.......

Okay, sorry about the misprint and will fix that as soon as I am done with this. I went to Fords website, 3.15 are the only gear option for the A6. The M6 comes with 3.31 and you can have the option of 3.55 or 3.73. I apologize again the the misinformation.

i would think you win from a roll if you hook. is it from a dig? either way you both have to drive it under the pressure of a race. the most experienced drive will likely smoke the guy who messes up.

Hp on a coyote..... The 460hp dyno is with torque managment off or extended. a stock coyote is severely limited by the PCM's torque tables. i bet the LS3 is the same. So, a ~460hp coyote VS a ~480hp LS3. thats a close race.

can you both get DR's and race? id like to see the race with the driver removed a little.

if i was you id get some hoosier DR's and smoke him on a day where its 60 degrees so the tires will work. start at 20mph. it's what i would do.

if he has summer tires and you dont race him on a 40 degree day. he'll spin.

There's always going to be differences though. If you add a supercharger to the Camaro, would it be fair? Not really, since it would be making substantially more power. Alright, so let both of them make the same power. Well, now its unfair because the Cobra weighs less. So add ballast to it. Well, now the Camaro hooks better because its got bigger tires. So change that too. And the gearing is different, so even that up too. You can keep going on and on and on until each one is identical ... but then its no longer any fun because you aren't comparing cars, you'd be comparing drivers.
