Should be no problem. If down the road you get crazy we will have the PRC thick deck 6 bolt cylinder heads done very soon!!

The stock heads are fine at 18psi - it is the bore that gets iffy -

here is my combo:

-Aluminum 6.2 Liters LS3 376 ci, stock LS3 heads and (GMPP single plane EFI).
-(stock crank 58x) ,Wiscopistons and Oliver rods
(compression is 9:2:0)

-Meziere electric water pump WP319.
-SLP Heavy duty oil pump.
-160 Thermostat.
-SLP Under drive pulley.

-Turbonitics TC78 mm .96 A/R (capable to achieve 1000HP) (soon will be changed to PTE88)
-JGS 50mm Wast gate
-JGS 60mm Blow Off Valve
-AMS 500 Boost controller
-AEM Wide band air/fuel.

-inter cooler:27"x12"x3" ,3" inlet & outlet
-MAFF less.
-Patriot gold valve springs 660" lift
-Custom Turbo cam 223/234 .600/.600 115 LSA cam .-Siemens fuel injectors 60lb
-Dual wallbro 255lb in tank.
-Nasty Custom fuel system for 1000 hp .
-Stage 3 TH400 transmission with Trans brake.
-8.8" ford differential.
-car weight is 2900lbs.

That is One Serious Build, to answer your question, I don't think it is a matter of the head holding the boost as much as the bolts.

This is the Reason the New LSX blocks now have additional head bolts to cure that problem.

You may want to upgrade the block for a build this serious before you turn it in to Scrap metal.

No question the extra head bolts are a huge plus but we have done tons of cars over the last 6 years in the 15 to 18 psi range prior to the extra head bolts
