My service manager said to store it with the tire pressure at about 44-45 to prevent flat spots. On the ground. Don't put it on jackstands he told me. There are also concave "chocks" you can park on that keep the tires round.

I have always stored my cars with suspension loaded but never on bare concrete floors. Don't let the suspension hang for a long time, not good.

After sitting a while u will get a flat spot. Mine only takes a few days but after a few miles its gone. I am sure that the longer it sits the worse the flat spot. But it would be a good idea to drive it a few miles every month any way.

I'm more worried about the battery. I went on a one month trip last month and left my Camaro in the garage covered. When I came back, it wouldn't start due to a nearly-dead battery. I had to jump it. I'm very worried about what will happen to the battery when it's stored for winter. I guess I'll disconnect the negative battery terminal when I store it. It's kind of a pain that it's not under the hood because the trunk will need to be left ajar (you can't open the trunk if the battery isn't connected). I have a subwoofer box in the way preventing me from crawling through the back seat too. Another thing is that I don't have power in my garage (it's not attached to the house), so I can't use a battery tender in the garage.

They make extension cords that will stretch to your garage I am sure. You connect to the positive/negative battery connections under the hood and run under the car, not to the battery in the trunk.
Battery Tender Junior like $23. Battery is fresh in the spring. Amazon.com
move the car 1-2 feet once a month NO Flat spots.

As I said, I have no power in my garage, so I can't plug it in. I'd have to pull the battery from the car and take it in the house.

Radial tires do no flat spot like the old bias-ply tires. There might be a slight flat spot with radials, but will disappear after driving for a mile or so.

If you're storing your car for the winter, don't start it up unless you have time to let it completely warm up to operating temperature. The moisture and condensation will cause more harm then just letting it sit.

I've been contemplating that, but I may need a run of over 100 feet (I live rural and the garage is not all that close to the house). We will be having some electrical work done in our basement next month. Maybe I can have a power line trenched out to the garage at that time. It sure would come in handy to have power out there! Thanks.

Don't put it up on stands. Pump up the tires a little more, or use these
http://www.raceramps.com/flatstoppers.html
Also, I would not put it up on stands for safety reasons, like in case you have to move the car quickly in an emergency.

I store my Camaro for the winter too along with a couple other cars and bikes. I bought 2" styrofoam insulation and drive the cars up on that and cover them in car pockets. The styro yields just enough and insulates from drastic temp changes. My storage barn is unheated and never a flat spot. Also a good battery tender is a must.
