Not really. I understand im not abiding by the law, and will take the ticket if I get one for no front plate. Im the one taking the risk. And I know they are not out to get me, its my fault, just like speeding. But, no front plate will not hurt anyone and is not reckless like speeding. Its a violation for them to make money. theres only a few states that even require one, because its pointless. Motorcycles in those states dont need one. So, why do cars?

It's the economy, that is an easy way for them to generate revenue. I rather get the ticket while parked than get pulled over for it and harrassed or searched or waste my time, or whatever. Get a decent bracket and plate up homie.

First off,the LEO'S don't write tickets for code violations in city streets,it's code enforcemant that cited you,if you were stopped for another violation then they can include a no front tag . At least in my state

I guess were just lucky that they don't require front plates in Florida. They didn't require them in Alabama either but Alabama doesn't require hoods, bumpers, fenders, doors, or emissions either.

Agreed, that makes no sense. What if you were detailing your car and had it removed for a day?

Make sure that thing is secure! My wife and I test drove a Saleen (yes, that's before the 5th gens came out) and the salesman put the plate on the dash in front of the passenger area. I stomped on it and the plate came flying back toward my wifes face. She amazed me with her quick reaction to catch it in her hand, like nothing happened. Kind of "matter of fact" reaction and she placed it on her lap.

Front plates law = lame... It's just a revenue generator and an excuse to harass people instead of going after someone committing a real crime.

I have it on with 4 suction cups through the mounting holes, so its very secure. Its hard to even pull it off when i take pics. The last thing i wanted was to dehead my passenger

eh... most people in CA will all say having the front plate required is dumb. I Agree. But, it can literally take 2 minutes to fix. Not a big deal.

Zip tie the plate on, get ticket signed, send in ticket, take off front plate. On to the next one. I dont condone disobeying the law. A ticket for dark tint is a different story though
