I always mix my coolant down with distilled water. Good tip.

I used the Evans coolant in my custom turbocharged BMW, with forged built motor, and I did not like the stuff, based on the observation that my strut bar, hood, etc were much hotter to the touch than before. It almost felt like I could fry an egg on it. I was also detonating, and had to retune timing to compensate..

Yes my coolant gauge still read normal, so go figure.

In any case, I drained that stuff out, and added oem BMW coolant and distilled water 60% water, and 40% coolant with Redline WaterWetter and the car rocked afterwards, was able to advance timing again
