What are your goals with the car and what number are you trying to hit?

I'm thinking blower cam... I'm still deciding on the 3.33 pulley or stock pulley with a blower cam.

Personally I wouldnt go the route of boosting high numbers to get there and depending on meth to save you. Seems like alot, especially if this is your normal street car (although thats the cheapest way). You have all the supporting mods, I would throw in a blower cam. You will be making higher numbers more efficiently at lower boost. That should get you close. Worse comes to worse you fall short of your goal by a little and you add meth for a more aggressive tune and a safety net incase the engine ever acts up.

Comp Cams Released 4 cams for the L99 then recalled the release, something about the wrong cores for 2010 models.

With a 3.33 pulley and 91 octane you Really should have a Cooling mist system.

We sell and install these weekly on Supercharged apps.

Ted.

Is there any way to get to 550 without changing the octane rating (91 octane only)?

Would an LS3 conversion cam do it?

You may want to check your CAI. It may be choking down the airflow coming in with the blower. When Ted added the water/meth injection to my L99 that problem showed up on the tune. He had to take my Pipeline CAI off and replace with a ADM Race. Picked up 15 hp. This may not be your problem but worth checking. The blowers need a lot more air in than before.

final result was 11.8 lbs of boost at the blower

But still at 8.8 lbs of boost at the intake?

Before the pulley change from 3.8 to 3.33 I was at 7 PSI.

Thats 3 sizes down, which should produce about 3 to 6 PSI more boost.

Since there are no leaks and no explanation where the 3PSI (11.8 psi at the blower vs 8.8 psi reading) of boost is going, we're completely stumped.

Only thing I can think of is that the exhaust valves are kicking out the extra boost caused by the efficient exhaust and the 1 7/8" headers.
