Another said that your view out the windshield is like looking through a mail slot.

Am I the only one here concerned about it? I know we have to wait to actually experience and get accustomed to it, but since it a near-universal complaint, I'm curious as to others' opinions.
First of all, it's important to understand that visibility will vary from person to person. You really do have to sit in it. I can tell you when I sat in it...I #1; did NOT feel claustrophobic like a few reviewers stated. and #2; I felt I could see very well in all directions. Visibility IS limiting, however...meaning less than 'average', so perhaps we'll have to be a little more careful. But with 400 hp, you're going to have to be careful anyways.

Then, my second point. They sacrificed improved visibility for exterior styling. That's the absolute bottom line. If you wanted the Camaro to look like the concept...then those C-pillars had to stay nice and thick, etc...

It's not useless, you just have to turn more then you're most likely accustomed too. I've driven my dad's Charger and they are down right terrible and to me the Chargers is worse then the Camaros. I would go test drive a Charger and get a feeling for it if you're worried.

Awww, ****. Now you got us! At least here in So-Fla or So-Cal. However, I have yet to see a Veyron around here, but there are plenty of Ferraris & Lambos to go around.

Right... but Ford doesn't make you live with those panels (I see very few that have them). And without them, you can see out of a Mustang pretty well. And you can see out of a BMW M3 just fine, too.

I know a lot of you guys think lousy vision is "part of it being a Camaro", and you're right. But it still surprises me that GM let this happen. A couple years ago whoever was running the Camaro program at the time (forgot his name) made a comment in an interview that the reason the 4th gen Camaro had been so badly outsold by the Mustang was that it was a pain to live with as a daily driver.

And here we go again...

Hell, you can't really see out of those windows anyway. I test drove a mustang and it was horrible. When I sat in the camaro it wasn't nearly as bad, and I didn't even have the seat adjusted right.

What they said! You will not get all around visibilty in any car but when you got to the low profile , beefy statured muscle car like our new Camaro with the peep windows you will gain bild spots.....common on the previous Camaro I had but in short time I adjusted and you will too. I bet that the pleasure we are going to get out of these Chevy masterpieces will outweigh the extra stretch you will have to bear to see the blind spot........ bring on my 2SS ABM Manual RS with 380ish hp at the rears !!!

I always laugh at the "plastic interior" comments from reviewers...what else are you going to make the interior out of? Wood? Metal? All car interiors are made of plastic, unless you want to spend over a hundred grand on leather-covered plastic such as in a Ferrari or Bentley.

Man, I go nuts every time I read that.................

But even the leather interior has knobs and buttons which are made of.........................................plastic .
