I'm not sure... making it even stranger is the fact the owner lives/works in Colorado so maybe she moves a lot.

![]() Thanks for the vid Dylan. It is nice to have Adams support and contibutions to the forum. This vid will help many. This is how I wash here in S Tx even during the summer. Esp when we have water restrictions. And it makes washing larger cars/trucks less work. I am blessed with a good pay and spray in the area that gives 20 mins for $3.00. As long as the meter is running most places will not have a problem. I do prep the buckets at home. And find this helpful to knock some of the water off before drying: http://www.amazon.com/Makita-BUB182Z...dp/B001UQ6WKUs You said you enjoy the time spent washing cars and making them look good. Myself and many more on this fourm are sure to agree. I have friends that pay others to do such and I just shake my head. And do not look to close at their paint! I hand them your dvds but most do not get it... Again, thanks for the good Vid |

I too live in south texas, i keep the car garaged and cover but when i drive it dust is the only issue , i never drive it on wet roads, my method of washing is quite simple and cost effective in my opinion. I first rinse out the garage floor to clean out any loose dirt. Buy 14 gallons of Distilled water. I have a new pump sprayer i bought for rinsing purposes and I use the two bucket washing system with the grit guard (just incase) . I use Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo, a chenelle washcloth, and the guzzler drying towel. I pre-rinse the whole car with distilled water.(All done inside a closed garage) Then proceed washing from top to bottom. The pump sprayer is good for pushing soap out of water traps, and using the pinnacle soap really makes pouring a gallon of distilled water on the roof to rinse a breeze water literally falls off, barely any water to dry up. And when using distilled water = no water spots. Glass dries perfectly. And total cost for the water is = like $11 not bad vs car washes than charge $10 to scratch your car to hell
