ok so i went down to my auto paint shop and got some adheasion promoter for plastic, some victory red basecoat, and some uv resistant clear coat im plan on doing the fuse box and engine cover any ideas or tips on how to do this... the guy told me to wash everything really good with dish soap and let it dry and tape it off and prep really good anything else? how long should i let it dry for?

PieMan, that looks so darn good. Is there anyway you can give a step by step tutorial on what you used and did? =D
So like List it out in sequential numbers for newbies like me. What comes first? Plastic Adhesion, then primer, then paint, then clearcoat? =o hehe, it would be awesome if you can list all steps from start to finish! THanks!

When purchasing the kit it gives you everything you need: First - clean it thoroughly with the degreaser/cleaner. You don't want to leave any dirt or grime behind. Second - Tape off with blue painters tape what parts you don't want to get paint on. You can see how I taped off mine to get the design I wanted. Third - Use the can labeled primer with 2-3 coats. Light coats, not heavy. If you go too heavy you will get runs and an undesirable finish. Fourth - Apply the basecoat (the color of your vehicle... i.e. Inferno Orange Metallic for me)... remember multiple light coats, not heavy. Fifth - Apply the clear coat finish. Multiple light coats. Finally - Once finished, carefully remove the painters tape and you are good to go. Spray it in a well ventilated area and give it plenty of time to dry. All dry times are clearly labeled on the cans, just read the labels. You can also purchase decals off of Ebay like I did indicating the Horsepower. Hope this helps... good luck!
