Correct guys, the heat gun is only used or needed on the V8 version. Now you can sleep better knowing you did not miss anything!! Sorry I did not respond yesterday I was working a car show/event the whole day.

Damn, I just bought a heat gun the other day. Hopefully installing my CAI tonight. Oh well, I guess it could come in handy for other things.

I have one and use it offten, good for breaking parts loose if you dont have a torch to heat things up, also great for debadging things.

Nice!! We will be coming out with a full line of truck intakes in the spring. GM models will be first for development, I have a Sierra 2500HD so I will make sure that one is done first HAHA. But in all seriousness we are really excited to get into the truck market, and can't wait for customers to have one on their Camaro as well as their truck!!

Can't wait to get mine, I like the sound, I don't want it too loud all the time, and that video sounded great. Should be ordering mine in the next week or two Bill!!

The sound is nice Adds a little low rumble in the lower RPM range and when cruising, and when you want it to be loud, just apply a healthy dose of throttle
