It's just a photo dude..lol.. get a grip..

Anyways I have made up my mind today about trading in my SS for a 5.0. I will come out with lower monthly payments due to a combination of 2.99% APR, having had the SS for exactly a year now, and most importantly the resale value of a 2010 SS is only a couple thousand below msrp. It would be as if I spent a couple thousand to be able to drive my SS for a year and enjoy it.

It's been a fun ride and I will continue to come on this forum since I enjoy reading and talking to the friends I've made. There is no fanboyism with me. I love the Camaro and the Stang equally. I owned a Stang for over 12 years and it still works perfect.. I owned a Camaro for a year and it has treated me well. I will own another Mustang and continue the American muscle car heritage that is in my blood. Go USA It will be interesting to see people in Camaro's not give me the thumbs up anymore..lol.. I know I won't get as many compliments at the pump either.. But you know I was never an attention getter before, and an orange Camaro really does make things easy for the cops. That is why a dark blue Mustang will be more low profile for me and it's a plus that it gets 4.5 (motortrend ran an auto GT at 4.3) 0-60 bone stock so I can use the power when I need it.

Motortrend's 4.3 0-60 video on the new 5.0.

Below a comparison on all three muscle cars. A little harsh on the Camaro interior but I have to agree it is the worst of the bunch after having driven all of them myself.

Running 13.3 in an Challenger R/T is comparable to running 12.6 in a stock Camaro SS. It might happen if the conditions are just right, but it doesn't happen very often.

The day GM High Tech Performance tested the Camaro SS (13.0 @ 110 mph)
they also ran a Challenger R/T (14.17 @ 100 mph)
Same day, Same track.

I should put a pink neon sign on the side saying (Ticket please) as well.

I already got a ticket for going 10 over the speed limit while this silver nissan that was going twice as fast and passed me was let go. The cop clearly saw the other guy.. Orange Camaro ticket makes the cop feel better..

That is why I need a darker color that blends in with its surroundings. I've never liked blue on a car before until I saw the Kona Blue.. It's better than Imperial Blue in my opinion.

Grabber Blue sure does grab everyone's attention

Kona seems awfully similar to Imperial Blue. Not the same, obviously...but very similar.

13.3 is by far NOT a glory pass for the R/T auto.

So GM High Tech Performance ran the Challenger too? How much seat time did those guys have in the Challenger? Was there any possiblity that it may have been slanted a bit in favor of the Camaro being that GM employees ran it? Same driver too? Too many factors to just assume that 14.1 is the norm for the R/T.

In pictures it looks similar. However in person it is a lot lighter and more metallic. Imperial blue needs to be in the bright sunlight to look like the way Kona Blue looks in the shade.
