I just hope Dodge takes a hint and steps up their game, because they're definitely last across the line as it stands right now. Truth be told, the Chally was always my favorite-looking of the bunch, but the interior has to go and I saw an Amish guy the other day who had a more advanced powerplant than the 5.7.

Lingenfelter is going to do so many more mods to the suspension and front end wich will make a difference. Hey listen I'm not saying they won't do a good job, but it won't be much better than what Ford has done with the GT500 in my opinion. And look at the Lingenfelter it is baarely 100 lbs more than the stock SS (4860 lbs) A Z28 will not be under 4k lbs I will almost promise you that. I like the Camaro I do I had one it drove good but too underpowered when leaving a 3300 lb Vette! To each their own!

just chimin in
Hi Guys,
Just my two cents here... I have been a chevy guy since my 57 that I dropped a crate 327/350hp in 65, close ratio BW 4-speed (2.20 first gear) with 4.56 posi 3rd member. Great times at Lyons Drag Strip in Ca. I have always loved chevy's...but...I gotta tell ya I am really happy to see such great technology in both the camaro's (finally), mopars and the mustangs. I have had my eye on the bullitt mustang for quite awhile and not sure it wont be the next toy in the garage. (duckin the brand loyaltist's) take care, Bill n Bev |

If there was a 2011 Mustang BULLITT with the 5.0, I'd have a hard time staying here.

Dude you keep taking what I say out of context. This is not an arms race. I don't know what your deal is. But, if this was an arms race, and this is coming from a GM guy. I'm pretty sure Ford would be the USA and GM Russia. Our cars are built here not Canada! And last time I checked Russia gave up on the arms race first, like GM with the Camaro in 2002. Ford has not had the Mustang missing from it's lineup since '64! ![]() And I'm juts poking fun because I love GM cars and the Vette and Camaro, and as a previous owner of both I can tell you they're great cars. I drive everything GM except my car now because GM has not upped their ante with a Z28 yet, and with a family I can't have a Vette anymore!

I loved the SN95 Saleen's, and the S197's, but these....these new ones are hideous.
Cobra, would you happen to know the new years code name? I think it's...I don't remember :( |

435S and S281 for 2010. The 2011's have not been codenamed yet although they may stick with these even though the 2011 Mustangs are getting new 5.0 engines!

Yeah it should. The weight is waht bothers me. and to be honest I haven't been impressed by any of the numbers the aftermarket tuner Camaros have been putting out from HPE, Lingenfelter, SLP, Saleen, etc... IT seems the best numbers are not too far off from the 2010 GT500 with them all having alot more power, excpet for the Hennessey 650 Camaro that thing is a beast. But the Z28 I think will havbe a 3.73 and the SS should go there too hopefully for them. I know the GT500 with the SVT Perf Pack this year gets the 3.73. All I know is GM was at a disadvantage already with the 2010 by not having anythinbg to compete with it. And just when the clouds seem to part on the Z28, Ford ups the ante with the 2011 GT500, doesn't bother me one bit. I think all this Z28 got Ford to really work hard on this new GT500. They really don't want a Z28 comnig in and just taking the throne they are making GM earn it!

![]() The sales "this time last year" are under 3000 units. So.....3x that is in the mid 8,000s....given the enthusiasts who bided their time to avoid getting shafted....yeah -- that sounds about right...near the Camaro's consistent sales of mid 7k (in winter.....). It might even outsell the Camaro this month...but the year is FAR from over.
