So I had my flomaster kit put on yesterday. Sounds awesome! It seems like my shifting is smoother now (manual trans). Anyone else experience this or am I just crazy.

Thanks.

Also, not sure about the length as you asked in another post. Did you find out? I would guess about 8" give or take.

Also, what size inlet is the AT? Is it 2.25" or 2.50"? On autoanything.com it says it's 2.50" tubing.
They do not have them on the site I emailed SW directly

"those would be our 4" round slash cut. Those will be $110 for the pair
Thanks

I was able to pick up a set of OEM SS exhaust tips for free so I am going to try those 1st (they are the same tips) and get them on the car I hope Wednesday.

I just got home from installing the flowmaster kit on my V6, and also added the Magnaflow resonated x-pipe.
I like this kit alot, the sound outside is nice, and quieter inside, which is comfortable; you can listen to your radio and not get annoyed lol

i have to get used to the tips; they stick out a bit, but dont wanna burn any plastics, so i'll run them, and move back later if needed.

Overall i am thrilled with this kit, installing my Eibachs on Friday, so im very excited.

Local shop welded the pipes on for me, installed everything for $175.
so with the resonated x pipe and the american thunder kit, the exhaust is QUIETER inside?? I may sound weird, but I don't consider that a bad thing. I want to add performance, but not at the expense of noise inside... that's why ya roll down the windows

I personally, dont find it "loud" inside, ive heard LOUD exhaust inside a car/truck before, and this isnt even close. My brotherinlaw used to have a chevy truck with flowmasters that sounded like a Helicopter inside, now that was loud, this kit, isnt by anymeans imo.

Well, I'm coming from a Grand Prix GTP with full custom 3" exhaust, and dual magnaflow mufflers... so it is a drone machine, LOL

Yeah. I may sound odd, but I'd like my wife to actually ride in the Camaro with me... she doesn't like the noise of the Grand Prix at all! (I bought the car with the exhaust installed, just never did anything about it) So quiet inside is a must if I want to mod the exhaust. I'd settle for the V6 sounding less raspy, like the V8 does. I know it will never have the same rumble, but I was surprised at how the V6 had such a raspy note on acceleration in the cabin.

My dad and I installed the kit this weekend and I love the sound. I had a bit of trouble getting the left muffler to fit at the same angle/distance as the right, but we managed to get it mostly right, hah.

Also, anyone having a problem with droning at higher speeds? At around 2000 rpm/70-75 mph it gets kinda bad. At least the cabin is very quiet sub 65 speeds (unless I gun it of course).
