Nvm, I followed the link.

The price is VERY reasonable. That thing will get you over 420 rwhp easily

The price for the Livernois package to delete the VVt is pretty good considering it includes labor but you guys just need to wait a little longer for this tech to come around. If you cant waint than this discussion has given you plenty of VVT choices. Look at my parts list a couple pages back for a VVT setup. Considering that heads are included it is a killer setup compared to deleting the VVT and getting no heads. The labor is the same amount as you have to pull the heads anyway. HMMMMM do I want to pay X amount to delete my VVT and get less power or do I want to keep my VVT all while making more power with some ported heads and paying less or the same as X amount. Come on guys its a no brainer. Unless your going for a crazy NA build it will pay to keep the VVT all while paying less and making more power than the VVT delete. Also Make no mistake that I believe the Gen V motor will all be VVT. When people start unlocking the VVT's potential it will be LS3 owners asking "how do I convert my LS3 to a L99?" When all new motors are of a VVT type the aftermarket will be forced to evolve or die. Trust me guys this technology and info on how to make great power on the L99 is coming.

Using VVT on a single camed engine like our L99's does have limitations. Seems like the best configuration is much like the Ford overhead camed 5.0 Mustang motor that uses VVT but can control Intake cams seperate from Exhaust cams. Don't see that coming with the future Gen V engine. I am not a Ford guy so don't shoot the messinger.

Shut up troll :emoticon7:

ha, just kidding. Your absolutely right that the future of the GM V8 is VVT. You can bet on Direct Injection also!

If I go with the Magna Charger TVS2300 Supercharger now. Couldn't I add a cam later? (I'm new to alot of this stuff, so don't beat me up too bad.) It's just that I see alot of either/or. I know we are talking alot of bucks, but......

If you go with the TVS2300 and do not have any other modifications, you get a 3yr/36000 mile warranty (I think). But, it has to be all stock, except maybe a cat-back exhaust. So, it is a good thing to go with the super charger and later, add a cam.

I'm planning on installing the VVT DOD cam in my L99 Camaro it carries the stock lift of 500 left but the duration is higher in the mid to 220s do I still need to use a cam phaser limiter with this cam with the same stock lift just a little more duration
