$$ Price of the new Camaro
Hi, does anyone have any solid information on how much the new Camaro will cost? Maybe a price range?

Does it come in BLACK?

Oh man that's a touchy subject around here lol. There is no solid information...that's the most solid piece of price info there is right now. It has been said by GM exec that it will be competitive with the mustang. Welcome to the boards BTW!

diarmadhi means that we all expect the Camaro to be priced really close to its closest competitor. So price a Muskrat with the options you want on your Camaro and there is you price +/- a few percent.

You want to know how the camaro will be priced in canada? Well the v6 is likey to be about 25k, the base v8 at around 35k and the top dog will be about 45k. And although you may be thinking that they will be the same because of the roughly equal values of the dollar, they won't. Cars are almost always around 20% more here, even if it is manufacuted in Canada. But this all begs the question, if you are located at the heart of the old empire then why do you wish to know how things are in British North America?

To answer your question... yes i live in England now, but i'll be emigrating to British Columbia next year (if all goes to plan) so i'll actually be buying my Camaro there... Hence the reason for my question. Thanks again. |

I think this might help on telling us how much GM is pricing for performance now. GM released the pricing for the G8. For the GT version of the G8 it will start at $29,995. I know this is discussed on a different thread but i think the camaro base v8 will be the same in the G8 GT so i think this helps.
http://www.thegmsource.com/index.php...articleid=661& The only question i have is how do performance coupes relate in price compared to performance sedans? What do you guys/gals think?

I think that the G8 is much more equipped at that stage (contributing to the price)...I also think that being a Camaro, it'll have much more power at that "GT" equinalent level of the G8.
Also...for a 'base V8', 29k is a little extreme if they're going for Mustang competition. Just my .02 |

Actually and correct me if I'm wrong, but Pontiac has always been more expensive then chevy, so I'd figure the Camaro to be a little less. Though the G8 does give us a rough idea and it's always better to figure on the high side.
