Thank you for your efforts. It is only a matter of time before another new post starts all over again. Much appreciated. I have slowly started searching the forum from the last page & there is so much good information that is not lost but just not looked at.

Thanks. Yea this is one of those MAJOR deals that seems to always keep popping up, and if it were a "sticky" and inserted in the proper section, I think it would be easier to find and search. Well done..

Thank your for posting this! I just completed this job yesterday! I did it the long way without cutting. The video I am posting helps a lot after the dash removal process that a lot of other videos failed to mention or show! Thanks again! (Not my video)

Recently I began to notice that stinky air from outside began to flow into the cabin when the recirculation button was depressed. Usually when I press the recirculation button I always heard a special sound (tzzz). But now it doesn't always appear (from time to time). It is very strange that the car does not allow me to force close the air recirculation door. So I have a couple questions.

-Should I hear the air recirculation door operating sound every time I press the button? Or does the car itself decide to open or close it (maybe outside temp dependent) ?
-Is the operation of the fresh air door visible if I remove the cabin filter?

In any case, I would like to find the part numbers of the actuators and doors in case of replacement. I found a several numbers but no idea which one I am looking for... Could you please help me to find out...

Actuators:
GM GENUINE 1574129 (Heater Panel Mode, ALT: 92215209)
GM GENUINE 1574128 (Temperature Door, ALT: 92215208)
GM GENUINE 13332582 (ALT: 92215207)
GM GENUINE 1574042 $14 (Mode Valve Selector, ALT: 92226365)

Doors:
GM GENUINE 1551251 (Temperature Door, ALT: 92215212)
GM GENUINE 1551253 (Defrost Door, ALT: 92215214)
GM GENUINE 1551252 (Vent Door, ALT: 92215213)
GM 92215211 (??)
