What HP/TQ are stock LS3 heads good for?
I understand a set of ported/polished heads make more power or make it easier to achieve power but at what level do the stock heads become the "bottleneck."
I ask because in Feb, I am definitely doing a cam and kit and maybe heads. I am looking ultimately for 600-700rwhp (down the road) with the use of either TT or a supercharger. I just can't make the decision if p and p heads are going to worth it costwise or if they are even necessary. The use of FI on a stock bottom end adds stress but if p and p heads make the power level easier to obtain, it should make it easier on the bottom end? Help? |
