Random key question..

As stupid as this may sound, do you guys think GM will use their common key setup with the key and fob as two different pieces? I really wish they would make a one piece key with the fob built on...

Yep, Milk hit the nail on the head.
The exact same as the G8 uses. But with the Gold Bowtie!

How cool is a "switchblade key". Even the key is awesome for this car. This will be a true classic in any sense I believe.

I'm actually a little disappointed that it's going to be a switchblade key.
But that's only because i'm not looking forward to replacing the damn thing every other month from constantly opening and closing it because it's just too cool.

I wanted keys that i never even have to use. Ones that you leave in your pocket. Ones that utilize a push button start I believe they are called smart keys, and I hope it is an option someday.

It's quite possible that it will be both. One of my Exs ... yes in Texas ... has a Nissan Murano that is a switchblade and "in your pocket key. Its not as cool looking as this one tho...

i don't like the idea of smartkeys or push button start. It makes it way too easy for anyone to get in your car and drive off.
