Heart just sank...here we go again...

Just jacked up my car onto jack stands in preparation to install the electric portion of my cut outs and found this...

Sorry if the pictures are big, they are taken near the driver's side wheel well.

I ALREADY had my car in the shop for 44 days when my engine blew at 9,000 miles...

Some of you might remember the thread:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109441

So whats the verdict guys/gals?

Im going to run the wires for my cut outs and then head over to my dealership.

At this point if they have to hold the car overnight I'm calling customer service right away and contacting a lemon law lawyer to explore my options. It was enough having the motor blow, now if I have a god damn oil leak somewhere this car is obviously a lemon.

Only mods to the car are a DRL re wire and I had my cut out dump pipes welded in. Thats it!

/sigh

Update #1

Showered, decided to fully warm up the car before taking it to the dealer and checking my oil levels.

I believe I found the source of the leak...

Thats really bad isnt it?

Update #3

Just got back from the dealer.

Uh........

They said its the AC compressor thats "leaking" and it needs to be replaced. Said its fine to drive and sent me on my way telling me to return once they get the part.

wtf...

Contact the BBB. I was having break problems and filed a claim with them. They got further with Chevrolet in a week than I did in months.

Find out what the lemon law states before jumping up and down demanding a buy-back. Get your ducks in a row and consult a lawyer if you feel you've got enough ammunition, or find out what ammo you WILL need.

I'm not defending nor villifying GM here because something isn't right, but if you go down that road of dispute resolution, make sure you're covered.

He hasn't even talked to the dealership yet. Let's see how that goes first.

Oil residue all near the driver's side wheel well area, some kind of oil leak. Definitely not suspension though its too far from that. Its coming down from the motor.

Hey, why don't you bring it in without the attitude. Maybe it can be fixed or resolved without a major confrontation. Right away it's BBB and lemon law. These things happen. Let them resolve it. Lemon law takes a lot of time and proof.
