Problems with DiabloSport Tuner

I had taken my camaro to get the DiabloSport Predator U7194 installed in my camaro but something happened in the install that it stopped installing the update and could not reset to original programming. It took a almost two weeks from dealers to DiabloSport to fix the problem but now i i had the car for a week and the engine light wont turn off and i was told that it had to reset its settings by driving.

So question is should i talk to DiabloSport or take my car to the dealer???

Also is it a good idea to try to re-install Predator to the car using a different programmer not the one used before??

take it to diablosport. sounds like the problem started with them

Last thing you want to do is take it to the Chevy dealer.

The check engine light will eventually extinguish after awhile if the problem that caused the light to set no longer exists. If you get impatient, you should be able to clear the light through the programmer, by pulling the ECM fuses for a few minutes or, if you have a manual, I think the only way is by disconnecting the battery, but I'm not positive.

If you still have a light, what are the codes?

As long as the stock tune is returned to the car, you can use a different Predator afterwards.

I don't know if you have resolved your problem or not, Sounds like the Predator Corrupted the files in the computer.

You should not have any check engine lights and I expect they won't go out any time soon.

I can Recover your PCM with an SCT X3 Tuner and get you headed in the right direction, This is the same as GM reflashing back to stock.

Going to take the car back on monday to the shop where i tried to put the DiabloSport in the camaro, talked to the owner and he said it was a simple thing to take off nothing is wrong.

Stick with he Diablo you won't be disappointed. You can get a custom tune with the Diablo.PM me and I'll give you the details. If your not doing anything wild with your car this is the way to go. Upgrade re-tunes are free if you do any further mods (unless you throw a SC on it) I've just did some up grades and his retune was excellent. Also with the hand held you can just plug in and return your car stock if you need to quickly and it's takes less than a minute to reset codes.
