WIDENING THE STOCK WHEELS
Does anyone know some place in Central Texas where I can get my OEM wheels widened? If there's nobody around here who can do it, can someone recommend a shop in the DFW area? Any input is very much appreciated.
I've posted this same thread on the regional forum, but I thought some of you guys outside the state might be able to help as well.

Wheels America in DFW has done it, but I don't know anyone personally who has used them. Most either go with Weldcraft Wheels, or Vaughn Machine.

I believe Weldcraft charges $200/per wheel, and they reccomend no more than 1 1/2" for oem wheels.
That may have changed in the last couple years though. |

There is a thread on here about this somewhere. I want to do this as well. Guess I just need to find time to call vaughn and see what all I need to do.

Where is Weldcraft located? I'm looking to take the rears from 9" out to 10.5". From what I've been able to glean from the other threads on this, I shouldn't need any spacers at that width.

Some have stock wheels widened to 10.5'' without needing a spacer. I have mine widened to 11'' and use a 20mm spacer.

It looks like Wheels America in Dallas is going to be the best bet. They want $250 a wheel, and since they're a few hours away, I can deliver them and pick them up without any shipping charges.

Yep, that way you can just switch the front wheels to the rear. 9'' fronts and 10.5'' rears.
