Question about hooking up a ******** amp

Looking to get this package from ******** (only I'd get mine vinyl wrapped):

It includes 2 12" subs and the amp and the amp specs state:
•RMS Power at 4 ohms: 475 watts x 1 chan.
•RMS Power at 2 ohms: 750 watts x 1 chan.
•RMS Power at 1 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan

What does all this mean? I'm completely confused, could someone explain this to me. How would I hook this up when I eventually do get this package?

it depends on what the specs are on the subs.

ohms are the resistance in an electrical circuit

on a 4 ohm circuit, the amp puts out a constant 475 watts of power
on a 2 ohm circuit, the amp puts out a constant 750 watts of power
on a 1 ohm circuit, the amp puts out a constant 1000 watts of power

use this subwoofer wiring diagrams to assist in how to wire up your subs to your amp

Since you're in NJ, if you need help when you do the install, reach out to me.

Meant to put this in the original message but this is the link to the setup I want to get:

http://********.com/Chevrolet-GMC-Su...e-clone-1.html

Says the subs are 4ohms. Went to your site and am completely lost, based off the link I sent, which setup under the 2 subwoofer section should I look at? Is each sub a different channel? Would I be able to run both subs at 1000w if the amp is rated for 1000w?

Got it, thanks a lot for the help, I really appreciate it! This is a lot easier visualizing things for me than just explaining it. Thanks again.

Jesus I'm an idiot. CVR and DVC are the same? Also how can I bridge this when the amp is only 1 channel to begin with? Don't I need more than 1 channel in order to bridge it?

Your not bridgeing the amp, it is already only one channel. Your wiring the 4 ohm voice coils of each sub in series, which turnes the sub into an 8 ohm sub, then your wiring the subs to the amp in a parallel configuration which reduces the load the amp sees to 4 ohms. Perfect for what you want to do, and nice and safe for the amp. So each sub will see half of the 475 watts.

CVR is the model of the kicker speaker
dual 4 ohm is dual voice coil set up

you don't need to bridge an already mono amp.

Here is how I set up my system:

1) Start at the amp
2) Run a 12 gauge wire from the amp to two separate distribution blocks, one for positive (red) and the other for negative (black)
3) Run 14 gauge wires from the distribution blocks to the connectors on the speaker box

Here is the distribution block setup I run, notice 1 wire into each block, 2 wires out

How everyone runs their wires is personal preference but I found this allowed me a clean set up in my colorado:
