Wiring question. NON-BA

I know how to wire an amp, sub and all that, but I've only ever connected the amp to an aftermarket head unit with RCA cables.

My question is, how would I go about wring the amp so it could receive signals from the stock radio? I've heard that I could just tap into the rear deck speakers, but I have never done that before.

Simply put, what would be easiest way to allow the amp to receive signal from the stock radio?

Any videos or links would be VERY helpful. Thanks.

Ok, So do I just splice in to the left and right rear deck speakers, then plug the rca in to the amp?

Ok. So from what I have seen, read, watched, and heard, I wouldn't have to run a single wire through the front of the car. Is that correct?

I know I seem like a novice at this, but I've only ever wired trucks and suvs with aftermarket head units with rca outputs.
