TRACKING ISSUES WITH DEALER
My TPW was June 1st, and dealer confirmed, a week later, that car was built, waiting for transport, but did not have VIN# because it disappeared from the sytem. I went to the dealership in person, on following Sat., and he told me that he couldn't get any info until MON. He then signed into the "workbench" found a list of vehicles, and printed the list. On that list was my VIN#.
Today, I called to ask if vehicle was shipped, and he told me that VIN# not on the sysem, again. I have 2 questions: 1) Why would a VIN# disappear from the system? and is my dealer dicking me around or is he just an idiot? 2) How long, after a car is ready for transport, will delivery take? (take into account that mine is coming by truck and not train, as I'm 1hr from Oshawa). |

That makes no sense at all. Mine rolled down the line on 6/1, was spit out with a VIN and invoice on 6/9. It went to Whitby for striping and back and is now awaiting a rail car ride to me. My dealer has been able to follow it through out the entire process since it was produced.
Have your dealer call the DBC (Dealer Business Center). That's what my Salesman has been doing. And they seem to be in the know.
