SLP Straight Pipe

I should be getting my SS LS3 in a month and a half or so and I wanna do straight pipes. I was wondering if anyone has bought this yet: http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=30222

I heard people are paying about $150 or so to install them. I am guessing the shops charge for the pipes and then to install. So I was wondering if it would be about the same price to just buy the SLP straight pipes and have them installed.

Has anyone purchased these?

I have them with the 3 pipe. I have #30222 installed now. I love it so much!

The good thing about the SLP #30222 is that you can install it then you can go back to mufflers anytime you want. Its a easy switch from no mufflers to mufflers again anytime you want to.

how much did they charge to install them? and did you need any additional parts or is everything included?

Just $50 to install them. You may find it cheaper somewhere else but my muffler shop charged me 50. Yes everything is included.

Ok thanks. I am going to get all my work done at Shoreline Motoring in Huntington Beach. I have heard they have good prices and customer service. And they do a lot of work on exotics http://www.shorelinemotoring.com/

Its 3"inch catback with a Xpipe. I'm not sure if that makes a big difference but it did for me

I have a question for those of you who used the SLP straight pipes, do you need to buy an xpipe too? I was going to buy it from this site (http://www.lmperformance.com/53927/119.html), but they make it seem like you need to use it with the slp xpipe.

Yes. you can only use that Muffler Delete Kit #30222 only with SLP 30220, 30223 or 30221 and that it!
If you need only a Axle-Back then you need

Ok well then how are people doing the muffler delete so cheap? I was only planning on spending $200 or so installed. So you bought the slp pipes for $100 and then you bought this xpipe http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=30220 its $700!!
