Hennessey Performance CAI?

I am looking for someone who has the Hennessey CAI, not to say I am in a rush to get a CAI, but I would like to get one in the near future, and I have not seen any threads about this, so tell me guys, how do you like it.

I have the Hennessey, I actually have one of the first ones and I am still torn about it. Granted I had some issues when I first recieved it but the guys at Hennessey made it right, they have excellent customer service. The good thing is the the shield comes with the CAI where the V8 is optional. I havn't seen any exact numbers, but you can definatly hear it breath when you drive. With that said I am unsure if it is worth the $400 tag based on what else is out there but I don't regret getting it.

What problems did you have when you got it? And i know it is hard to tell by "feel" but have you noticed ANY performance difference, also if you had a choice to buy a different, would you? Also even if you wouldn't which one you get.

Being that it was the first one they shipped it it was a pre-production model, so the welding was sub parr, the finish was pretty bad, took awhile to get it looking good, and was missing some minor hardware that I had laying around. However Hennessey made it right, and had great customer service.

Honestly I havn't felt any perfomance differences, the only differences that I have seen is all audio as I said you can definatly hear it breathing, but that is any CAI.

I am happy with it there is no real reason to re-upgrade it currently I might down the road when I decide on a twin turbo or supercharger if they ever come out. Right now I don't see any reason to upgrade as they all are doing about the same minus one or two out there tht I think are complete garbage.

If I were to get another one it would probably be the Injen CAI, I would recommend the Hennessey if it were cheaper, as stated I do not think it is worth $400.
