Are you getting an V8 or V6?

Remember its been out awhile, Whatever is on the lot can go at or near invioce.

Ordering is another thing. But if you see something you like ....deal with em.
tell them you 're cross shopping the Mustang Gt.

So long as they know you have options (in your own mind) they will give you one at or near invioce....Say things like: Holdback, Steps, End of month incentives.

Tell em you'll go either to a mustang or challenger if they can't get the price below sticker. Most dealer are going for sticker price even on orders.

You can order one for invoice as well.

I ordered as well, but it seems to me when someone wants to order a vehicle they want it more than they NEED it. It depends on the dealer, but they actually pay around $800-$900 under invoice to GM, so if you mention "dealer holdbacks" and you're in an area with multiple dealerships, they'll do it. Actually, they are usually more likely to do it on a sold order simply because they have virtually no overhead invested in the car.

I ended up at $500 over invoice because I didn't have a clue about dealer holdbacks at the time, and they had to install my GFX anyway. But, if all they are going to do is fill it up and detail it, many of them will let you have it for invoice.
