No recent track times. Before the cam and wider tires the best I could get at the track was a 12.1 with a lot of tire spin. Hopefully I'll be able to get out of the shop one of these upcoming Fridays.

That is correct. The FB page is the most up-to-date page for Sin City Camaro Club. However, we do have a group page here as well.
Here are some links for you: http://www.sincitycamaroclub.com/ http://www.camaro5.com/forums/group.php?groupid=331 https://www.facebook.com/groups/103877126403172/ |

Thanks for the info! I'm finally getting my exhaust (Borla ATAK catback) but would like to hear it in person before I buy. Anybody got that setup? I've seen a million YouTube vids but there's nothing like hearing it live.

Hey folks we have set a date/time frame for our move back to Las Vegas after 7 years of living here in Georgia. We are looking at September~November, we are waiting til then because we have several exotic birds and we really dont want to take them across country in the summer heat, so we figure it would be a lot easier closer to the end of the year when it is cooler.
I am looking forward to meeting up with you all and will be joining the Sin City Club as soon as I get there. Once I get there and find a job and settled I will most likely be looking to trade Lil Blue in for a Vert....and maybe an SS while I am at it, seeing as I most likely wont be driving all the miles that I drive now. I am wondering if Fairway Cheverolet is a good dealership still, I bought my 04 Monte Carlo and a used 98 Jeep Wrangler from them when I lived there last and I was treated pretty well. If they are not the ones to deal with then please let me know who is. Thanks PS: I noticed that after looking at all the Vegas members rides that that there are no front license plates on them, are they not required to have them on the fronts of cars out there? I remember back in 06 they said you had to have them on the front, but I mostly just kept the plate inside of the car in case I got pulled over for not having one on the front of the car, but hen again I was never pulled over for that

Only if there is a front bracket, most don't bother to put the bracket on so nope!

You're supposed to have both plates on the car. However, Vroom_vroom is right...if you don't have the bracket, you don't need to put it on. I do keep the 2nd plate in my glove box just in case though.

Howdy!
Just thought I'd drop in and say howdy to everyone!
Of course I'm new here, but definitely not new to the Camaro scene. I've had 5 Camaros in my lifetime, so far, however, this past weekend, I decided to make it 6. I just purchased a "new to me" 2010 2SS/RS. It has the 6 speed in it with a Hurst short throw shifter. I'm so damn ecstatic! I've had all types of Camaros...RS, Z/28, plain jane, etc..., but never an SS. So, I'm definitely pumped! Unfortunately I have to wait for it to be transported up from Tucson, so I won't get it until the end of the week. They said about 7-8 days or so. The wait is KILLING MEEEEEEE!!!!! LOL! However, I'm hoping to meet some of the SCCC crew at Cars & Coffee sometime soon. Nice meeting the rest of you and I hope to meet you all on a cruise sometime soon as well. I guess a pic would help, right? (not like you all haven't seen one of these before, but I'm still proud LOL) Last edited by R1_Demon; 06-30-2013 at 07:43 PM. Reason: A picture helps. :-P |
