Installed them myself in about 6 hours with the help of my oldest son.

Cutting the inner lip of the fenders

The end result, open the doors regular for eveyday use and lift them up at car shows.

Wasn't a fan at all until I saw these in person and I want them asap. Doubt I can get them though.

anyone have these?
i've seen the "bolt on" kits but are they REALLY bolt on?
what are the cons? if any? obviously the pro's are the looks but anything bad? does the door hit the fender (seen this on the ricers before)

any info would be awesome, kinda almost debating on doing it as long as it would be reversible and not cause any damage
The Vertical Doors kit is a direct bolt-on. The doors don't come off the car for the install. You unbolt the factory hinges and bolt in the Vertical Door Kit and then you open the door for the fine tuning.

There is a stop that prevents the door from opening all the way to protect the fender. I had the car at the GM Nationals a few weeks ago and everyone loved the doors.

hello, u have to remove the front fender, cut the inner part, not hard, remove a bracket, remove door hinges, install new hinges, remove the factory door stop, align door (most difficult part for me) done, 2 people 6-8 hours. when the factory door hinges are removed someone has to hold the door in place while the vertical door hinges are being installed.

i think this is the way it is, once i got them on, 9 out of 10 love them. i really believe that those who dont like them, not all, but most have not seen them in person, most are going by what the have seen on other cars or by pics, and pics dont do justice. the camaro pulls it off. if you like them, great, if you dont, great.

I personally think that the whole "Lambo Door" thing has been waaaaaaaaayyyy overdone.

I mean if you are into the car show thing, it may or may not help you place... If you are a "Mullet havng, cut-off shirt-wearing, American Muscle kind of guy...this isn't your thing.

...Just sayin...

There seems to be a lot of hating on the lambo doors. IMO I think it looks awesome a definite head turner. Honestly, its such a perfection of a car that there is very little do to hurt its beauty. Just looks amazing almost no matter mod. Havent seen a bad looking 5th gen yet

Also if anyone has done it could you please provide information on pricing and how long it took you or where you got it done. Thanks!
