Good choice. You will be pleased after they are installed. I know I was.

Good question about the sound after break - in. That is probably an opinion. I know mine sound GREAT everytime I get on it hard. Can't tell that it has gotten any better. It just keeps sounding good.

I now need to have someone take my Camaro and pass me on the expressway full throttle in 3rd gear so I can hear it from the other another car.

I did the install myself.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...42#post1734742

Then 3 weeks later drove to MRT and had them welded in place.

I have had mine on for over 5K miles and several months of driving, and I say YES they do get better over time...best way I can put it is that the tone "smooths out"...ya know?

The wife took the car this morning...I was in the bathroom at the farthest point from the garage when she started...the walls came alive with MRT rumble!

NICE!

Driver side fit better than the passanger side. Something to do with the Camaro exhuast's are not symetrical. With a little work the passanger side makes it. Really nothing to it. There is a U-Tube video of the install and the instructions are clear. I bought a new SAWZ ALL just for this install. (Needed one anyway )

My poor daughter sleeps just above the garage. I leave for work at 4:30 am. She has never complained but I am sure she would hear it if she was awake. I will have to have my wife start it later tonight while I am in her room to test that out.

Had mine on about 1500 miles now, sound has definately mellowed a bit and gotten...cleaner sounding. Best way I can describe it.

When I get on it on the ramp @ work by our loading dock, it frightens people. lol. Reverberating off the concrete walls it sounds downright evil.
