I'll see if I'm up and around when my new tube comes. I will do all 3 runs if I am able to. I'm not even back to driving yet :(.

devildoc - If you need a stock box to do runs let me know. As posted above I still have mine sitting here.

I think he was talking about the tune..not the CAI since he was agreeing with the part where you said most people wouldn't get a tune.

But a tune doesn't void warranty necessarily either..

You are going to be in Muscle Car heaven, between TX and CA. So many shops and modders over there. I can barely find 2 shops in Charlotte.

I find more shops geared towards Euro or Asian imports.

I'd like to see the dyno results of the stock intake, and Airaid v1 and v2 done on a car with no mods or just after market mufflers and no tune. Other then chozn4service, did anybody that got a beta test tube not have a modded car(headers, tunes, high flow cats)?

I would say no....probably because there were only certain ppl that got it. The tune doesn't count though, since you can turn it off and place your stock tune back on.....like what I did.

So what are your impressions of the new tube? I remember you saying it felt like it kept getting better as you drove, but not much else. Do you feel a definitely improvement? Would you venture to say its a noticeable improvement over the stock air box?

EDIT: Ok so I just went back and saw your comments on the other AirRaid V2 thread.

Yea, I do like it better for daily driving. The throttle responce is crisper and the low end seems to be metered better than V1... which was an improvement over stock though more on the upper RPM range.

Now I can do the IAT relocation to help with the heat soak even more. The V2 seems to run a bit cooler now that it's off the radiator.
