I use to wave/honk/flash lights at all other Camaros but recently just started to tap the horn. Most of the time I can't even see the other drivers due to tinted windows and such...

I'm a guy and don't take waving or smiling as being flirtatious. But I see a lot of weirdoes daily.

Now my mom and her 2010 IOM is another story. She drives it once a week and has a story each time. She is either waving at crazy teen age girls or racing guys in work trucks.

I try to tell her to conserve her excitement with no avail!

She has a bible and a handgun with her so I don't thinks she worries as much as I do.

I would recommend that if you don't want unwanted attention then don't draw attention to yourself.
You're going to get the the bad with the good if you wave and smile to guys frequently.
Is it right...NO! fact of life...YES!
BTW if you spot a TorRed Challenger owner in S. Illinois giving a thumbs it's just cause your car is cool...not quite as cool as mine...but still cool
Haha....I'd defitnitely give a if I saw your Challenger.

Your mom sounds great! Make sure she is invited to the next C5 fest cause I want to meet her and hang out with her.

But yeah, if you want to acknowledge a respectable ride, thumbs up. If you wanna be friendly or more a nice smile is always appreciated by the brethren
I agree with Abygale. When someone acknowledges my ride as being cool I like to give a smile and a wave to be friendly. It certainly doesn't mean I want to pull over at the next parking lot and jump his bones (unless he's totally hot!! J/K!). It just means I know that I have a hot ride and I am glad that others can see that too. I have been approached on several occasions and told that my car is hot and so am I. I think thats cool but, no one has ever followed me home from one of those encounters.
