No offense taken. I was only pointing out that due to financial considerations, a lot of other people are waiting so they too can get what they want rather than settling. Which is what quite a few people here are advising you do as well.

That Sucks, I Suggest trying to find another dealership and try again with another one. I live in a kinda big/small town and we have 3 chevy dealerships.

So Try finding another one and see what you can deal with them. Also maybe try talking to beckyd or camaroscotty about this situation and they may be able to help you out.

Sounds like the salesman was being pretty cool. A bad one would have put you in the car even if he knew you couldn't afford it so his sales numbers looked good. I know how you feel. I've had to wait a looong time myself. My wife and I decided on an amount we wanted to have to put down and everytime we get close, it seems something comes up. One of the kids cars needs repairs, doctor visits, vet bills......always something! I hate waiting but in some respects, it's ok. Since we didn't get the 2010, we'll have HUD in the 2011. If that falls thru, maybe a Z-28 w/ a supercharger. Who knows? Keep your eye on the prize and one day it'll happen.

Hang in their. It took me 5 dealers to get mine. The last dealer wanted insane money down due me just starting this new job. I stated I wanted to use my trade only and they have to work around what I wanted to pay monthly.

They alway kept coming back with put this amount down and your payments will this or this. I told them either give more for my trade and knock the price down of the camaro. I kept getting the excuse they cant lower it due it being a hot car. Me and the wife left and the next day and 4 calls later they lowerd the car by alot. This also after I told them I found a 2010 used yellow/black 1SS A6 with 8k miles for the price range I wanted. I ended up a proud owner of a victory red 2010 1SS M6.

Stick to your guns and shop around hard. Even use car prices in neighboring states against your local dealers.

Go to another dealership and keep looking around, don't give up-- You may not be able to order a 2011 but I'm sure you can find a 2010 on the lot and a dealership ready to make you a good deal.

I have like 9% interest b/c I have limited credit -- I manage even though my payments are like $600 a month (I also have most of the money to pay off my car saved in a private account so I don't actually pay that out of my weekly check so...it's a bit different)...
Try a credit union -- go in and see what they will offer you for an interest rate on a loan -- a good dealership will also search for loans for you at different banks and credit unions.

Don't get down - it might not happen right this second but you'll find something. I went through hell ordering my LT and eventually had to say "screw it" on that order and was lucky enough to find my SS a different dealer lot -- things happen (that suck) for a reason! Keep trying, you'll find that perfect Camaro/deal eventually!!

Hey if I were you I would go to many other dealerships and shop around, it someone wants to really sell a car to you then they will make it happen. I am financially strapped right now and want so much to get a Camaro but I know that I will have to wait, but when I DO go buy one I will play them instead of them playing me, I will most likely go to all the dealerships within a 100 mile radius, I will go in knowing what I will pay and what I wont pay and I WILL NOT allow them to try and talk me into something I dont want, I have done that before and have regretted it.
