2010 Mustang GT...it has the 4.6L V8..315HP.

Not the 2011...

Alot changed for the Mustang from 2010 to 2011

The Camaro is a nice, car but Motor Trend just put the Mustang, as a bargain in the BMW M3 territory, and is right there and less than a tenth second slower than the BMW M3 that is some bang for your buck I have the link here, I am not liable for anything that is mentioned about the Camaro in the video, and I already know that your going to say that Motortrends are fan boys for Ford, I think their fan boy's but just not for Ford, because clearly we already know who takes the prize home in this video, anyway Camaro is a great car guys, I am not bashing it at all, I love them in fact and wish I could own all of the Big three Challenger SRT-8 and CAMARO SS, well maybe not since I just realized you guys are getting the CAMARO Z28, ill take one of those also, and the MUSTANG GT in my garage and I would be set! i will go ahead and say it first..... Driver's race. that is what most arguments boil down to.... i also wish you good luck in finding a stock form of the camaro.

I think a 2002 Camaro has a slight advantage over the 2010 GT.

It does. The 2002 SS was 3400 lbs and had around 340-350 real HP. Its around 150-200 pounds lighter and has more torque and HP.

With equal drivers and conditions..the 2002 Camaro SS wins by a tenth, maybe a bit less or more.

Yea it has about the same advantage as the 03 Cobra has over the 11 gt and 5th gen.

But it cant port its heads, throw on a different pulley, add some long tubes and run low 12's...

But yes, in stock form it has about the same advantage.

Im not sure I would call it only a tenth difference with both hooking equal.

10 Gt dynos about 20whp less than an ls1 on average and is about ~200 lbs heavier.

I would say the difference is about .2-.3 tenths. Still a drivers race.

I know the best 4th gen time is about 12.8 (some have claimed 12.7 but I doubt it). What is the best 10GT time stock to date?...13 flat is what I have in my memory but I could be wrong. The ls1 cars have also trapped up to 109...I think the GT is up to about 106 max.

Definitely a good race.
