i have been driving for 3 years. driving stick for 2 years.. its still new for me.. thats why i love it so much
have driven "stick" for over 40 years..(showing my age here!).still love it as i feel it is an "integral" part of a great performance vehicle, however with the technical strides made with "slush boxes",i have to admit the choice is made "EASIER".for anyone to pick the auto, and still enjoy what the car has to offer!..that said, the car TO ME is just MORE exciting to drive with the 6-speed!

yeah!..it does make sense!..a lot of people prefer the slush because of this reason!..i hear ya,however i guess i am just so used to the stick that it is something that doesn't really concern me,as i have been driving stick for so long,it becomes "second nature!"..traffic,and all!.."just sayin!"

The LS3 is not just a "former" Corvette engine, it is still one of the engines available on the Corvette today.

Aaaaaand that's what I've been saying all along.

I've driven every kind of tranny, vehicle, truck, car you can name. I prefer to not shift anymore. The thrill was gone long ago.

You don't even make sense. YOU are the troll.

It really depends on what you prefer. All my life, I preferred a manual transmission. Now, that I am driving 90-95% city driving, I prefer the automatic. I can still shift the gears if I want by putting the transmission in 'S' sport mode and using the buttons on the steering wheel.

Sometimes, I just don't feel like using a clutch, so automatic is my choice.

I test drove an auto when i was making the mustang vs camaro comparison (they didn't have any manuals on the lot) and at that point, i was liking the mustang quite a bit more than the camaro because the camaro was so "boring" a few months later i test drove both manuals back to back and i went back to a camaro.

It does make a big difference.

That's fair. I have driven both as well. Even in the 500+ HP variety. Though 'Boring' is just your opinion, you are right that the M6 is funner.

The experience I was refering to was driving an auto with a CFD automatic shifter with tap shift. It's a whole different experience than a factory equiped auto.
