My guess is it sounded like ass. You ever heard a muffler-less V6? And I will put it in writing... it sounds bad on V8s too.

Looked horrible from the back and the sound at 3k rpms was like something was dying and then amplified. The rasp of the V6 has to be managed more effectively.

Didn't tie up an O2 sensor well enough replacing headers, fused the pigtails toghether so I had to buy a ne extension and a new O2 sensor. Didn't burp my pump right after my supercharger install and overheated, could have caused serious damage (It didn't though)

Biggest mistake for me was the GMPP street mufflers, Droned like mad, hated them. The Corsa fixed that..

The Hurst was pulled out pretty quick, wouldnt say it was a mistake but just a matter of taste.

When I was installing stainless steel brake lines, I didn't realize that they were two different length and of course installed BOTH rear lines on the front before I figured it out. That's about the biggest mistake I have made so far, knock on wood...

i bought a magnaflow exhaust system, the full system w/ pipes etc, and installed myself with help from my dad. my mistake was not tightening everything to the listed pressure. they recommended something like 65lbs of pressure, we cranked it to 50 and felt like it absolutely could NOT go any harder without breaking something.

sure enough, months later, the system is shaky when i go over bumps in the road, and i'll have to jack it up this spring and tighten everything to that 65lbs

LOWERING SPRINGS

My biggest mistake was probably lowering springs. Yes, they do make the car look sick but their is ALSO alot of headaches to go along with it. I bought the Eibach lowerings springs at a good price but spent another $445 to properly install them. Then I had a nice loud clunk for awhile. Then I wasted another $400 for a bushing kit which is still sitting in the box because I can't find anyone close that wants to install it. I spent another $300+ for the anti roll kit. If I knew the simple $200 springs were to going to cost me this much money in the end I would of left my stock suspension alone. My eibach setup is on my camaro because I'm not wasting anymore more money messing around with the suspension.

YOu ain't gonna break those. Unless your using a bar.

And sometimes they'll just do that. They get hot and cold. Like header bolts. 50 lbs isnt' really that much anyway. Should be easy and quick to tighten though.
