To find the LAST Camaro that kept me up at night wanting her...i had to go all the way back to the year model i was born in:

Had a chance to get one in high school and it broke my heart when i didnt.

All 5 of my previous Camaros were 3rd gens. Love the bodystyle to this day, specially the IROCs.


I love the Fox body 5.0 specially the saleen.

Crappy pics but his car is exactly the same as mine (except i have nav and a brushed aluminum grill).



Other than whats already posted in my sig and what shows in the pics. One thing about mine thats different. 99% of the SN197 mustangs have that shitty black plastic around the grill and all over the front end. The Black GT/CS does not..its painted to match like a shelby. (except for the lower fascia which is straight from the Boss 302)

No i just meant for me....... Camaros stopped being cool in the late 70s (although i briefly did like the late 80s fad "irocs"). And the LAST of the "ultimate" Camaros was really the 73....although i would not have turned down a 74-81 either.

I was never a fan of the 82+ designs really.

Having said that...i was NOT a fan of the SN95 1994-2004 mustangs either (except the afore mentioned termi cobra in 03-04) and the grabber blue mach I i think in 03

Overall Camaro wins in the beauty department hands down (not saying there werent some stangs here and there that i loved)

Personally i think both the camaro and the mustang deserve the same treatment the classic Porshe 911 gets. Stop monkeying around with the body and stick to something resembling the original beauty and just continue to evolve the chasis and powertrains over the years..... Seriously. I know the retro look is in now but i fear it will go away again and i absolutely do not think it should. Ford/chevy needs to follow the Porshe lead.
