WHOOP A$$ lmfao last night i was driveing to work and i was behind this civic and it had so meny problums omfg it would barely shift out of frist and when it did a big puff of black smoke was seen it smelled NASTY (even with the windows closed) so we got on the highway part (55 mph) and she was barely doing 40!

so i was in manual mode like i always drive in 5th gear putting along well i slaped it down to 3ed and blew her doors off I DID NOT SPEED i just went to 70 to pass then slowed down MAN I LOVE MY CAMARO

*edit* it was a legal pass too doted middle line not soild

I really enjoy passing slow people too... cruising in the slow lane... someone up ahead gets in your way, so down shift for a few seconds of glory and go back to cruising again with them in your rear view.

i totaly agree should see me on the highway dodgeing ducking in traffic i barely do below 75 mph so much fun

as i was passing to clear her i got up to 70 then cut back into my lane (oncomeing traffic and other factors) then i slowed down as fast as i could to be in legal limit far as i know here in mass your given a 10 mph over limit so in reality i cruise like 60 to 65 mph range on a 55 mph road speed limit still legal so i was only 5 mph over

and to pass someone you need to do 10 mph faster then them minual so.... 70 to pass with enuff time with out comeing to a head on is with in limits and law

dude the car should not have even been on the road not to mention the enviermental hazards of her car i wish i got a picture of how much black smoke was pouring out of her tail pipe so what im a jerk for passing her illegal car cause she was a road hazard and enjoy doing it? not to mention enjoying the thrill of owning a sports car?

good for you. I passed a Nissan Altima on the way into work. It was a newer model...shiny... seemed to run ok. I was breaking the law... 70 in a 65...

depends on your state all states have an over/under limit let go like i stated in mine its 10 mph i never gotten pulled over (camaro or no) driveing like i do *knock on wood* for speeding

and normal i drive slow with in the speed limit normal keep my rpms low (2k shift and keep it around 1'500 to 2k range) but ever once and a while STOMP IT lmfao

This thread is about the joy of downshifting and blowing by someone that is basically in your way. Don't be a hater and make it something else guys... Yeah something else would get it done, but it's nowhere near as fun, and who hasn't gotten up to 70 when making a pass.
