Maybe. I'll let you know.

I might have to tuck them back in a little with the 15-mm adapters like yotaman96 suggested. I'm starting to think smaller adapters in the back plus 275s on 9-inch wheels in the front will equal the optimum rake.

This is starting to get expensive.

I think this will probably look the best. I believe the word you were looking for is stance, not rake.

You could get your stock fronts narrowed and run them as skinnies at the strip.

It's only money, you can always make more.

Nope. Still planning on it. I am almost to the point where I need new tires. When the current set are done, I will get the wheels widened, and mount the new tires on them.

I wanted to have the 9's in front, and use a second pair of 20 x 9's to widen. So I bought another set, and put the 20 x 9's from those on the front.

I will go to 20 x 11, and get some adapters from ADM.

You could also get another set of adapters for the front, and move them out to match the rears.

There is a guy in Germany running adapters on all 4 wheels. Looks good.

I stand corrected. We're wider in the back, not taller.

I'm still a little hesitant to scale back to the 15-mm adapters because I don't like the idea of cutting threads off the studs. I'd still like the option to take them off for the drag strip. Maybe I'm just being too anal about it though. With the way that adapter is made and the way it fits, I doubt the structural integrity of the hub/wheel assembly has been compromised. I should probably just commit to them and be done with it.

Pictures?

Maybe I could do this until I need new tires again. It shouldn't take too long.

Give me a few.

Here you go. Hopefully I won't get into trouble for linking to another site. Those are the stock wheels on H&R 20mm adapters on stock wheels and tires.

So you guys all think I'm better off putting a set of rears on the front? Instead of widening the fronts?

You could buy two wheels cheaper than what it costs to widen them.

Yep. The only reason we widened the rears is because you can't buy 10.5-inch stockers. You can buy 9-inch stockers for the front, and because of the net difference in width minus offset, you'll gain a little outboard movement as a bonus.

Ok but I already bought a full set of wheels. Not just 2. I have 2 full sets. One of them I powdercoated front and backs already. So I was just going to send all them to get widened. If not I'm gonna end up with 4 fronts that are mix match unless I powdercoat the rest of the wheels I have.

Well, now that you've explained your dilemma,

So you guys think I can widen the fronts to 9.5 and put a spacer on them? And widen the rears to 10.8 or 11?

The fronts will work. If you go past 10.5 on the rears, you'll need spacers on the back too.
