If you look at the picture of the Camaro Cat-Back system you can see that the offset/offset mufflers are not a straight shot from the pipe that turns around the rear differential doesn’t make a straight shot to the tail pipe tips, so some bends will be necessary to make some 3” Outlaw mufflers fit. Your Flowmaster Cat-Back is 3” 409S Stainless Steel and our separate Flowmaster Outlaws are Aluminized Steel.

We’re currently scheduled to start producing them in 409S Stainless in the next couple of months.

Keep in mind that your 5” exhaust tips will further increase the tone of the aggressive Outlaw mufflers. Do you have pictures of your 5” exhaust tips?
Thanks! I'd be very curious to see what my V8 sounds like with the outlaw mufflers, Turbocharger, 5" tips, and high flow cats. I wasn't sure if the 5" tips would make a difference in sound, but from what you explained, I'm hoping it will.

TCAT – Those are big tips. It looks like they don’t really flare to 5 inches inside the tip except for the last couple of inches, that design will keep them tamed a little, but they’ll still be louder than with our tips. It will be interesting to hear what they would sound like with the Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust.

Our suggestion is to hear what the Outlaw system sounds like in person on your car before increasing the volume.

Is that your car in your avatar? Do you have pictures of the engine and the car?

Thanks for all the great information! I'm curious to see how my car will sound because I know the turbo acts as a muffler of sort, so the sound may change a bit. It should sound great still.

Personally, I don't think Flowmasters sound good on the LLT, or any of Chevy's engines. Of course exhaust appreciation is all up to whose ears are listening. Good luck in your choice

Matmobl88 – You’re right, appreciation is up to those listening. We know that not everyone is sold on the sound of chambered Flowmasters, that’s why we offer more performance mufflers and choices than any other performance exhaust company. For the 5th gen Camaro we offer Chambered mufflers, Pro-Series mufflers, and Outlaw mufflers. There’s a little something for everyone.

The Outlaws are the best sound, I get comments every day of how good they sound. They will be even better when produced in the Stainless. I have the prototypes on mine Check out by You Tube sound chips

Buffnshine – We do love the sound of your Outlaw Cat-Back system. We thought we’d post a link to your video for those that don’t know how to find it on YouTube.
