You don't have to add boost or timing if you want to play it safe. You will still benefit power wise because the lowered iat temps will result in less pulled timing and hence, more power and consistency.

I'm not sure what you're trying to ask.
Look at me and my mods. I have purchased every single item on my car practically from Ted and he has done all my tuning. I'm in central america so I have REALLY bad gas, but my motor is still running strong at 4k miles under HEAVY abuse and street racing. Listen to what Ted says. I was a little hard headed with him at first but learned to value his opinion and take his word as if it is gold. The guy knows what he is doing. He has tons of experience and cars to prove it. If he tells you do X do X. Don't go by what people on an internet forum tell you. |

I'm in Central America. Gas here is very bad... Like 88 octane bad. Race gas here costs $1,000 per barrel. I run liquor through my meth system. A 35/65 combination that costs $10 to fill up my tank. So it's very practical and cheap.
In the US you have race gas everywhere and costs just a bit more. So yes, I'd run race gas if you have availability and funding for it. Also meth systems tend to fail, thus why most tuners will tune you without meth. If the pump goes out you'll never know. There's a few fail safes like safeinjection which will pull timing if it detects your meth not flowing. Without safe injection or alky full kit I would never run meth for power. |

, what good is injecting meth? All it would do is raise octane to lets just say 100, the car is only tuned and boosted to 93 octane what is the point on running the high octane on a pump gas tune? The psi would need to be increased to utilize the 100 octane to its full potential right? Idc if I get ripped on I can take it as long as I understand. Thank you again

I am going to take one more stab..and then it costs you money from that point on. Pump gas varies in quality......dramatically sometimes. So on any given day you can get some gas that isn't up to par and your 93 tune is suddenly knocking...or maybe it's 100 degrees out one day etc....the meth give you a safety factor. It's like extra protection.....no you don't NEED it...but the benefit is that instead of running on the edge of what pump gas can do...the meth gives you extra octane and extra knock protection which is safer for cast pistons.

You can use a condom for extra protection against pregnancy. Although birth control is pretty safe there's still a chance it fails. A condom is 100 proof as long as it doesn't break. |

So meth is like 200 octane? I need that when it's 100 degrees outside. Huh? I don't get it. Why do you want to stab me and then take my money? So..... I should use meth????
