FIC is what I plan on using, and haven't heard many issues with them. I would also recommend in getting a second opinion, couldn't hurt.

I havent actually seen anyone with an issue...they just hear people saying stuff and repeat the same thing....if IDKs blow your skirt up then fine...but don't run FIC into the ground because they work great.

Your absolutely right. I am by no way bashing FIC injectors. Many many many companies use them and have success with them. I'm on my 2nd set of FIC injectors which HPS did pay for my install labor and injectors so i wouldnt have to but it still didnt fix the problem which most likeley has to do with the tune/tuner. So with that being the case..... since i have installed the new FIC injectors i have taken my car to HPS another 2 seperate times to fix thier tune. The first time they worked on it all day and i was not willing to leave my car there so i drove the 5 hours home. The 2nd time i left my car there for 3 WEEKS so they had PLENTY of time to work on the tune. When i talked to Chris about 2 or 3 days ago he said it's very hard to diagnose that problem cause i only get the 3 to 4 second delayed start when my car is cold or has been sitting for about an hour after driving. Well i said yeah thats the whole reason i brought it in there so it wouldnt do that. He told me previously he was going to install the ID850s before i dropped the car off this last time which is where this whole injector argument started on which is better...etc. The ID850's never got installed and the tuner HPS cannot figure out how to tune it properly with the FICs. So i think thats why people are saying to try out the id850s to see if there is a difference. Whenever HPS decides to return my phone calls i will ask him to send me the id850s like he said he was originally gonna put in and see if that fixes the problem. it doesnt hurt to try. If that doesnt fix it then we can rule out the injectors. But i refuse to drive another 400+ mile road trip fir the 4th time!

Sorry i skipped over this bud. Yeah that is the problem, instead it wasn't .3 or .4 seconds slower. It was a full 4-5 seconds of cranking cranking cranking and then finally starting. They were able to connect it to the laptop to see how long it was actually delaying and messed with the cranking table but... nothing.
that was the time where they only had my car for a day though. i dont know how much in depth they went over these past 3 weeks but its still not fixed. The exhaust rubbing on the frame happened over time. I was told one of the v clamps came lose so he fixed that for me. But the whole cabin still fills up with a strong exhaust odor when im stuck at a light with my ac on so there has to be a leak somewhere that happened over time but that didnt get fixed. I turned off my CEL for rich fuel before i got to the shop so not sure if anything was done about that. Hes the one that told me the 2 codes i got just means that my maf was gonna go out soon and it wasnt a biggie. thats the second maf i put it since ive had the turbo kit on.

Yeah when I saw it I couldn't noticed it at all but the scanner did say it was .3 slower. I never saw it take 3 or 4 seconds thats why i was asking but yeah there's a issue there for sure then if its that's bad.

That's what I was alluding too. If the bigger injectors are not scaled properly the car will run rich which you see on a scanner, be slow at WOT, and will be hard to start. If you have or have access to HPT you can email a file and have one emailed back to you which you can load into your car.

Running overly rich will foul out plugs.

Starting the car too much and flooding it out is also a bad thing. You don't want gas in your oil. Bad for engine bearings.

had to do it through youtube. Here we go ...
http://youtu.be/QO0swYPLIBU
Sometimes it takes longer to start and after it has been started if i were to turn it off and crank it again it would start right up until it cools for about an hour.

I wouldn't think it's a tune issue. I've seen the car start many times but I've never seen it hard start where it takes 4 secs to start. Unless something has changed with the tune I wouldn't believe it's the tune because I would think it would do it all the time. Last time I saw the car it ran like stock and started fine. Im not real sure what it could be.

Wow. I'm sorry I won't be any help, but that would piss me off. I hope mine doesn't end up starting over like that, when I finally finish installing my kit.
