Tinted Windows?

NJ has extremely strict laws for tint. I would love to tint mine 5% all around (which I had dont on another car) but NJ cops will pull you over for tint. Because tint is not a moving violation, you cant just be pulled over for having it. BUT they will pull you over for "not wearing your seatbelt" and, lo and behold, someone has tint on their windows too.

Another popular claim is probable cause, or claiming you were swerving or whatever. After talking to cops, the biggest problem (maybe just in NJ) is that they cant see how many people are in the car, if people are smoking weed/drinking alcohol, not wearing seatbelts, etc. And pulling us over is like free money to them.

Just saying, if you're driving like law-abiding citizen in NJ, that wont stop you from getting pulled over. Not in the slightest. I have about a dozen tickets for tint to remind me.

Alright cool, i was thinking about doing this (not yet) This looks basically what i want. Maybe 15 in the back and the small window on the sides. I just have one small question. How is the vision with tint on this car, during the day and night? Thats the only thing that is worring me, since vision is bad as is in this car.

Cermaic tenting is suppose to not interfere with XM radio, Blue tooth, etc.. plus it does'nt give you that purpelish look after a few years when its worn and almost of out life.

i live in indiana i got 20% which the limit here is 35 its been 2 weeks no problems yet it looks great they messed up one passenger side though it pealed right away and i was really angry they lefy glue EVERYWHERE it came off but took awhile but beware of ngiht driving i took it out for first time in rain and i couldnt see ANYTHING

5% all the way around, the cops give tickets for 5 or 40% so it doesnt matter here might as well go deep as always.

The Dark Side Window Tinting here in Augusta charges $145 for the 2010 Camaro and have already done 3.

I plan to have mine done darkest allowed by law (I think it's 35%). Staying within the law 'cause I once got a ticket for tint $250 ! ! ! That hurt!

tinting the front windshield is insane, it's not legal in any of the 50 states. i wouldnt even make it down the street in NJ with a tinted windshield heh.

Will you tint over or around the third brake light???

Got mine tinted for $120 b/c my tinter had to remove the rear deck which was a pain in the ass....for him to do and a pain for me to watch. I had to leave for awhile and come back....couldn't bear to look at my car torn apart. Legal all the way around 35 sides 20 in the back.

Don't forget the eyebrow tint!!!!!!

Tinted around the 3rd brake light! Just can't drive without tint, it knocks down the daytime and night time glare AND makes the car look a little cleaner and meaner!
